Works for me: a new discovery

March 18, 2008 by Mary Owlhaven

This evening when I was cooking dinner, I got to wondering how my recipe (a beef veggie stir-fry) stacked up nutritionally. My 16 year old son did a quick search on the internet and came up with this really cool recipe calculator . Type in your ingredients and it will give you a complete nutritional analysis of your meal.

Thanks for the great tip, Mary! Don’t you think you should also share your recipe. :)

I just found that this week too!!! I was happy to find it b/c sometimes I’ve tried to calculate stuff out on my own and it took forever!

I tested it against a couple of recipes that I had w/the nutrition breakdown already on the recipe – it came out super close.

Very late at night, I write about it all.
