    Sounds like a lovely day!

Duckabush Blog Dh and I have been working on some ‘tomato-staking’ parenting. A true challenge. You might be interested in reading about it. :)

Two of our sons are home from their college apartments.
One walked his bicycle, the other hitched a ride with a friend who has a van.

I did all the grocery shopping this week, as per their e-mailed lists.
One son marinated salmon fillets for the grill, the other chopped fresh garlic cloves and proceeded to broil a wonderfully flavored toast.
All I did was set some veges in the microwave.

Meanwhile, my husband was doing bicycle repair duty.

We are about to chauffeur one an hour’s drive back so he can feed his cat.

    Hope yours is going well!

Do you think you could make those drinks in red, yellow and green?

There’s still the red cranberry juice, yellow gatorade—but what to use for green?

I'm Mary, wife to John, and mom to 10 kids ages 3-20. Six of them were adopted, from Ethiopia and Korea. I spend my days applying Bandaids, reminding kids to use their inside voices, persuading kids fractions are useful, cooking spicy ethnic food, and snapping gig after gig of pictures. Very late at night, I write about it all.
