8_months_pregnant In support of Karen at Big Tradeoff, who fears she is the world’s hugest pregnant woman ever, here is a picture of me in 1991, 8 months pregnant with my 3rd child. As you can see, my 3 year old was experiencing a ‘sympathy’ pregnancy, compliments of a rather large party balloon. And almost hidden behind my enormousness is my #2 child, 19 months at the time. Every time I see this picture I get a chuckle. I think at the time my ‘waist’ measure somewhere around 50 inches. I’m 5 foot 1 inch…guess what I looked like pregnant!…I remember knocking off a picture at a funeral with my tum tum when I was preg with the now seven year old. Very embarassing, but I got back down…

I always tried to avoid having my photo taken when I was huge-pregnant. But now I’m glad to have a few pictures. Someday I can remind my kids: “just look what I went through for you!”

Oh, I remember how huge I got with my first!! I am not sure if I was brave enough to let a picture be taken though!!

I wish I had a scanner. My mother’s 3rd child was 12lbs at birth, talk about being the biggest pregnant woman ever! ha!

That is so awesome…being a midwife- you can imagine that I just love the belly pictures!
