Things I hope to find yard-saling

May 18, 2007 by Mary Owlhaven

-One toddler bed with mattress
-PJ’s, girls size 10-12
-skirts/dresses, girls size 10-12
-Jeans, girls size 10-12
-Shoes, girls size 4-6
-One dresser
-One bike (20 inch wheels)
-2 winter coats, girls size 10-12

We’ll see how we do! After my last yard sale find (see pix) when I was so sure I’d never find what we needed, I’m eager to see what God has for us. (And yes, you’re right- I’m nesting!)

I’m getting my yard sale list together too! It is such an adventure and a pleasure to find what you need at a yard sale price!

Jennifer – first yard sale today =)

I love yard saling! I’ll have to get started on my list.

I love shopping at yard sales & thrift stores! I hope you find what you are looking for. Your post reminds me that I need to start a list for what I will need for our two little boys. I’m resisting the urge to buy little boy clothes b/c we don’t have a referral.

    Happy Shopping!

Reading your list made me think I NEED to get out there, but I’ll be at Build-A-Bear tomorrow morning, building bears for orphans! (maybe I’ll drag myself out of bed early)

My 4 year old is moving out of his toddler bed and into a big bed TOMORROW!! Since my little princess already has one, I am looking for a home for it! Oh, that you lived a lot closer. I don’t suppose shipping on a toddler bed and mattress would be cost effective… Oh, well. Good luck at the sales.

There is NOTHING like the rush of finding something you were looking for at a garage sale!

I just thought of something – do you have a FreeCycle list in your area?

If you lived closer I could fulfill 90% of your list. đŸ™‚

    Good luck on your search!

What size dresser? Because I have one. It’s not big, but it’s yours for the low low price of just being my friend! ((grin))

Another garage sale addict – we held a sale before moving last week oursleves, and on the way home from picking all the signs up, I was tempted to pop into another person’s yard sale!

Gues it just goes to show – one woman’s trash is another woman’s treasure!

Hey, that interview with John Bul Dau…. think they could use a nurse over there for a short-term thing? that sounds like an amazing opportunity to work in their clinic? They may already have everything under control, though…..
